Skincare Routine – Winter Edition

DSCN0540.jpg

Hi guys,

Hope your having a relaxing Sunday. Todays post is a quick post on my skincare routine in the winter. My skincare routine is pretty simple and straight forward, I prefer not to use to many products on my skin. I definitely stand by the cleanse tone and moisturise rule as I feel it is an important step to add to a skincare routine. Since following this I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin and I follow this for both morning and night. The prices of these products may vary depending on where you purchase it from.

Garnier- Micellar Cleansing Water £4- 400ml

I absolutely love this product ! In the mornings I use this to get rid off any left over makeup I’ve missed the night before and just cleanse my face. This product is great at taking off makeup even waterproof makeup. I prefer using this as an alternative to makeup wipes as I feel this is a lot kinder to my skin. After using makeup wipes my skin usually feels sore especially round the eye area so this is a great alternative for me.

Lush- 9 to 5 Cleansing lotion £5.10- 95g

This product again just helps me cleanse my face. I usually get a bit in my hands and put it on my face. However I make sure I don’t completely rub it in my skin as after I get a cotton wool pad and wipe it away. After I’ve wiped it away, you can actually see on the cotton pad all the dirt that was on your face. Its a great cleanser that lives your skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Lush- Tea Tree Toner £4.50- 100g

This Is possibly the best toner I’ve ever used. I just spritz it all over my face straight after I use the cleanser and my skin feels amaaaazing. It mentions on the bottle that it works as an antibacterial and comes to the aid of skin when experiencing breakouts. it has definitely worked for me and prevented breakouts, again it just helps my skin feel refreshed especially in the mornings.

Nivea- Soft £4.29-200ml

I have been using the brand Nivea for ages now and haven’t switched since. I love this cream as like any other moisturise its great at keeping my skin moisturised throughout the winter where its most likely to become dry.

    1. I don’t wear a lot of face makeup mainly eye makeup so I don’t use many cotton pads usually just two or three. If you want me to do a review on the micellar water I would be happy to do so, its a great product x
