DIY: Tinted lipbalm/lipgloss

Hi lovelies,

you will need:

  1. petroleum jelly or normal Vaseline

2. A eye shadow, blush or pigment you don’t mind ruining and it is the colour you want your lip balm to be.

3. something to scrape the eye shadow/blush with. either a plastic knife or even a toothpick would do.

4. something to put your finish product in- travel container or small jar

first get a teaspoon of petroleum jelly or Vaseline and put it into your container. Make sure the petroleum jelly is quite soft so that it is easy to mix.

Next get your chosen eye shadow/blush and scrape out with your tool an amount again equal to about half a teaspoon. This could get messy so make sure you do it on top of a cloth or newspaper.

Now go ahead and put it into the container with the petroleum jelly.

Then mix them both together with your tool until it is smooth and there are no bits of your eye shadow and then you are done.

This is the swatch of what I made and I have to say I am actual impressed with myself. Its actually really soft on my lips and has a nice colour to.
